Pristine and Delicate Wedding

A styled shoot solely inspired by a neutral color palette of dried florals where the goal was to create an elegant and pristine ambiance.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed about my wedding day; I am sure I am not the only one. I want to feel like a princess, wearing a tiara and a handmade, delicate dress that perfectly fits my silhouette. I want to be surrounded by a mixture of soft dried floral designs that are complemented with carefully selected tableware - simply making the room look heavenly.

With this in mind, we came up with the style and design which allowed us to plan and coordinate all of the different elements that were used on this shoot to make it a successful one. I styled the dinner set up with the help of the florist and worked with the models, photographer and videographer to make sure the story we wanted to tell was being told.

THE BRIDAL MODELS

Founder and lead bridal designer, Mika Herrara, provided the bridal dresses and accessories for this styled shoot.

Liz gave both models a natural makeup look with a smokey eye; she also used a light hint of purple to match the table decor. For the hairstyles, she decided to use both model's natural hair as an inspiration and therefore styled Yeko's hair with a delicate bob and Leanne with a half hair updo whilst accentuating her curls.

THE TABLESCAPE

Fiona created a dried floral hanging installation to bring a delicate and ethereal touch. By doing so, she was able to soften the wedding table with a floating pampas cloud in soft creams and muted sands, complemented by a bespoke arrangement for a statement and stand-alone piece.

The table was styled by 504-Events with linens from Just 4 Linen, a leading supplier of table linen hire in London. Furniture and tableware were provided by Options Greathire.

THE CAKE

The cake was designed by Elizabeth's Cake Emporium; it portrays a minimalist yet elegant design with elegant, asymmetrical draping and ruffles.

THE WEDDING STATIONERY

The stationery was created by Ivy White, who specialises in luxury stationery and design. The flexibility of their designs is mirrored in their flexibility of printing solutions, with letterpress, die-cutting, foils and many more options available; they also offer more eco-friendly options, such as seed paper and recycled card, and all orders are assembled and finished by hand.
